Question 1

What is persistent authentication?

Accepted Answer

Persistent authentication binds verified identity to a secure wearable or smart device using biometrics. Once enrolled, the system continuously verifies presence throughout the session — no repeated prompts. Identity travels with the user, not the device.

Question 2

How much time does persistent authentication save?

Accepted Answer

Persistent authentication reduces login time from 24–36 seconds (OTP/MFA) to approximately 2 seconds — an 18× improvement. For a 250-person organization logging in 10 times daily, that recovers roughly 1,826 hours per month.

Question 4
